This is the fun part! Here are some things we can do to make your wooden jigsaw puzzle extremely personal. When you call , here are some of the things we will ask you ........
How would you like your jigsaw puzzle cut? Our new style.." Swirl Cut"," Earlet Cut" or our most triditional" Knob Cut"

What names or dates can we add to your wooden jigsaw puzzle?..
We are all artist at Platinum Puzzles,we can cut names or dates and just about any message into your puzzle. We can also cut just about any message out of the puzzle, when you want to send a message that will not be seen until the puzzle is complete, sculpting out the words is the way to go! We love doing surprises like that!
"Figurals" can we add to your wooden jigsaw puzzle?
Figurals are puzzle pieces that take on the shape of, well almost anything, the possibilities are endless!
Here you can tell us what the recipient would like. Do they ski or golf? Do they have pets?
We hand design our figurals so this can really be personal.
We like to have 5 -10% of the pieces be figurals, so in an
8" - 10" puzzle there would contain around 8 -16 figurals.

How can we treat your borders?
When it comes to wooden jigsaw puzzles this is where our artistry shines!
We can add a corner bauble or we can give it the works!
When you lose that straight edge that most traditional puzzles have,
you've added a new dimension to jigsaw puzzling!

Drop it out...
When we add drop out enhancements or sculpting to any wooden jigsaw puzzle the recipient is in for a treat, and a challenge.
Sure they may be screaming at you while they are trying to get it together. But those screams turn to " that's amazing" when it's finished and they can take in the whole design.

We can add some "inside, outside" sections?
This tricky little action makes inside pieces look
like they could possibly go on the outside edge.
or we could.....
add a window to your wooden jigsaw puzzle. A window is a section of the puzzle that contains a figural, but that's it.
Seasoned puzzlers always look for those pieces that surround the figural. The lack of these pieces makes for a more challenging puzzle.

When making a wooden jigsaw puzzle
There are things we do to every puzzle. We will always take advantage of color.
Color line cutting is when we will cut precisely between two colors. If there is no color clues for the puzzler then it is an added challenge. We believe this one action brings the most rewarding challenge to the puzzler.
No lock border pieces, we can't have you throwing the border together with no challenge!
Here is a cutting technique that requires a third inner piece to lock the two border pieces together.
We know, it's border line cruelty!
Here is something Platinum Puzzles has invented, while fooling around with the figurals shapes. What if you could pop up some of the figurals in the puzzle, not like adding extra pieces, but taking it from the print , by adding a tab to the bottom of the figurals, they will pop up and stand on the surface and create a perfect shadow behind them. The possibilities for creating scenes from the pop ups interacting are endless

We made these shadow figurals on a Phillies puzzles
